The first week of dance has begun at Chester Valley Dance Academy.  I am so excited to work with my students this year in my two modern classes, some of whom I have known since they were in the pre-school classes.  I am eager for the dancers to find their “modern bodies” and emerge from their hyper-ballet trained shells.

Additionally, Nutcracker rehearsals have begun and the mice are a force to be reckoned with in the Battle Scene! It will be a challenge to choreograph on three different casts of dancers simultaneously, but I am excited to work on such a large group.  It will be exciting to return to one of my favorite parts of the production.
