Part 6

More information on Project 21: An Afterthought

Part 6 of An Afterthought explores the indecision of wanting to grow up.  As college seniors, my peers and I would love nothing more to be first-years again and experience our time at college again.  However, we simultaneously are looking forward to the open opportunities that are available after commencement.  This piece looks at the back and forth thoughts of growing up, regardless of what stage in life we are in.

I suppose it’s like the ticking crocidile, isn’t it? Time is chasing after all of us. – J.M. Barrie

Barrie’s words inspired this part of An Afterthought.  It is difficult to accept where you are in life when you constantly want to be older and have more responsibilities, or want to be younger when decisions were made for you.  The movement is ever changing in direction like our ever changing wishes.
